Human-commanded multi-domain architecture

Mission processing closer to approved sensors.

Shadow Node frames edge processing, local interface management and controlled information flow without claiming a fixed hardware or deployment configuration.

Public architecture

What this page establishes

Public material describes roles, interfaces and governance boundaries without unsupported operational claims.

01

Approved inputs

Interfaces are selected for the mission and operating environment; public material identifies categories without exposing restricted integration detail.

02

Local processing

Edge processing can reduce unnecessary data movement and preserve mission context where the approved architecture requires it.

03

Governed connection

Shadow Node remains part of a wider command, access-control and evidence model rather than an independent authority for consequential action.

04

Bounded degraded-mode operation

Resilience does not remove authority boundaries. Local workflows may continue only within pre-defined permissions, with logged state, health monitoring and human escalation. No consequential permission is self-granted.

05

Failure boundary

When approved communications or dependencies are unavailable, the public architecture requires a bounded state rather than expanded authority. Exact degraded-mode behaviour must be verified for each configuration before publication.
